Power Engineers, Member of WSP is seeking an energetic, self-starting team member with a strongstructural engineering background to perform engineering design activities for all aspects of renewable projects.This position will report to the Renewables Department Manager in ourSalt Lake City, Utah office. A hybrid and / or in-office work environment is preferred; however, a remote role may be considered and is dependent on the individual's level of experience and proven ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of civil andstructural design includingpreparation of steel performance drawings, fabrication drawings, foundation designand construction inspection.
• Development ofsteel and concreteconstruction specifications, cost estimates, engineering proposals, and project schedules.
• Support of substation physical design with bus analysis calculations and coordinating with multiple disciplines on results.
• Preparation of calculation packages to satisfy client and code requirements.
• Occasional travel is required to build relationships with team members and clients.
• Understand and implement client specific design standards.
