Paramedic - ORMC Emergency Department - Days

Position Summary

Position Summary :

• 3 shifts per week
• 6 : 45 AM - 7 : 15 PM
• The first week of orientation will require availability from Monday - Friday from 7 : 30am - 4 : 00pm

The paramedic Provides and documents individualized patient care to include patient and personal safety, patient assessments in collaboration with the supervising RN or RT, patient re-assessments, triage, maintaining airway patency, IV access and hang IV fluids without additives, ECG interpretations, dysrhythmias recognition, places patients on defined oxygen delivering devices and assists with the application of skeletal traction / splints / immobilizers and other orthopedic equipment under the supervision of a Licensed Physician.
