Messina Social Club a 100 plus year members only club in South Philadelphia is looking to hire a line cook to join our team.

Work Week : Tuesday thru Saturday. Restaurant is closed both Sunday and Monday!

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our recipes and standards. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that all dishes are prepared with precision and delivered in a timely manner. If you have a passion for culinary arts and enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in taste and presentation
• Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with food safety standards
• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
• Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items or specials
