Mechanic - Cowley, WY

The position of a Mechanic is primarily responsible for assisting in performing routine and specialized mechanical repairs, including troubleshooting, electrical repairs, brake systems, hydraulic systems, diesel / gas engines, and preventive maintenance in all fleet vehicles / equipment. It requires keeping records of work performed and keeping a clean and safe work area.

Key Responsibilities :

• Diagnose and repair various makes / models of trucks and equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance according to set schedules
• Basic or better electrical skills and capable of reading simple schematics
• Ability to use diagnostic laptop tools
• Knowledge of diesel engines and DPF systems
• Welding, cutting and fabrication
• Off premises repairs as needed to support field crews
• Light duty and medium duty brake system repairs / maintenance
• Hydraulic system knowledge is a plus
• Ability to build tires or willingness to learn
• Ability to self-start and stay focused on the task at hand
• Maintain a positive attitude and ability to work as a team player
