The Anesthesiology Physician is responsible for administering various types of anesthesia during surgical and obstetric procedures. This role requires taking on daily shifts and being available for occasional pager call, with a focus on handling cases across multiple specialties including general surgery and orthopedics. A minimum of three years of experience, active NC license, and relevant certifications are necessary for this position.

Dates of Coverage Needed :

November 25th, 2024 - November 30th, 2024

7A-7A (weekend)

7A-4P shift; 4P-7A pager call (weekday)

The Anesthesiologist would be required to work daily shifts and take occasional call as well. The CRNA administers intravenous, general and regional anesthetics (regional experience preferred but not required) to render patients insensible to pain during surgical procedures and in obstetric deliveries or other medical procedures. Cases Anesthesiologists will be handling include : General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Urology, Gynecological, C-Sections, and Optometry.

Requirements :

• Minimum of at least 3 years experience
• Current NC License
• Current BCLS and ACLS Certification
• PALS Certification Preferred
• Regional Skills Preferred Not required.

Active NC DEA with NC address required.

We have newly renovated hospital owned apartments (WiFi and Cable included) that the locums can stay in during their assignments.

NC Medicaid / Medicare credentialed.

1. Patient Volume - Approx 1,000 cases / quarter
