Job description

We have an exciting locum tenens opportunity for a Hospice and Palliative Medicine physician in Washington State, located in the scenic region near Buckley, WA. This position is ideal for those seeking a structured and supportive environment with the flexibility that locum tenens offers. Here are the key details :

Position Highlights :

  • Role : Hospice and Palliative Medicine Physician (Locum Tenens)
  • Coverage : Scheduled clinical hours only; inpatient setting
  • Location : Near Buckley, Washington
  • Start Date : ASAP
  • Duration : Coverage needed through February 1, 2025
  • EMR System : Epic

Position Details : Workload :

Average of 6-10 patients per shift

  • No admissions or call-back responsibilities
  • Inpatient-focused with no outpatient coverage required
  • Temporary hospital privileges are available

    • Support & Supervision :

    Will not be required to supervise advanced practice providers

  • No additional on-site trauma or pediatric support required (Level 4 trauma facility)

    • Requirements :

  • Board Certification : Board Eligible or Certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
  • Licensure : Valid Washington State license or eligibility under the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
  • Certifications : No specific BLS, ACLS, or PALS certifications required
