Position Overview :
Seeking an experienced Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer to support a high-volume cardiac department performing both inpatient and outpatient echocardiograms. Candidates must be skilled in advanced echo techniques and comfortable in a fast-paced teaching hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform echocardiographic imaging including transthoracic (TTE), stress echocardiograms, bubble studies, and TEEs
Operate Siemens and Phillips equipment for adult cardiac imaging
Support portable echo studies in inpatient and ER settings
Work within a team performing 75–100 echocardiograms daily across departments
Ensure proper documentation using Syngo and PACS
Collaborate with physicians and cardiologists for immediate clinical feedback
Required Qualifications :
Minimum 3 years of recent echocardiography experience
Certifications Required :
BLS (Basic Life Support)
RDCS (Adult) — RDCS-Pediatric preferred but not required
Experience Required :
Inpatient and ER echocardiography
Use of Syngo imaging software and portable studies
Echo modalities : 3D Echo, TEE, M-Mode, Contrast / Bubble Studies, Stress (Pharm & Treadmill), RIT / RVOT
Experience Preferred :
Outpatient, teaching hospitals, PICU / NICU
Biopsy assistance, IV starts, and PACS navigation
