Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Explore a rewarding opportunity with AHWFB Cardiology Department as we eagerly welcome a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic outpatient team in Elkin, North Carolina. This outreach position will serve Wilkes, Elkin and other surrounding areas.

What We Have to Offer :

• CME Reimbursement : Receive up to $2,500 and 5 additional PTO days / year for Continuing Medical Education.
• Work / Life Balance : Schedule of Monday through Friday, 8 am 5 pm. No weekends, nights or call.

What You ll Do :

As a valued member of our healthcare team, the NP will play a key role in team-focused patient care, conducting thorough examinations and evaluations in medical setting. As the APP, you will play a vital role in enhancing cardiac care across rural hospitals and outpatient settings. The NP will handle important inpatient consultations, oversee cardiac stress tests, and lead outpatient initiatives across Elkin and Wilkes. Responsibilities include :

The clinician functions under the regulatory mandate from their respective licensing organization (North Carolina Board of Nursing) with departmental specific credentialing from the institution.
