A Fresh Perspective

Imagine a career where every day is an opportunity to give voice to those who struggle with communication. As a Speech Language Pathologist in the dynamic and welcoming Fort Worth community, your role transcends the conventional treatment of speech and swallowing disorders. Here, you will help individuals from the innocent laughter of toddlers finding their voices to the brave attempts of seniors striving for independence once again.

This position provides a diverse scope, where you can impact patients throughout their life journeys. Whether your heart lies with children facing speech delays, adults overcoming neurological challenges, or the elderly navigating cognitive decline, you will find a fulfilling path that meets your passions.

  • Create tailored treatment strategies aimed at fulfilling both immediate and ongoing communication and swallowing objectives.
  • Deliver focused speech therapy sessions targeting language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing capabilities.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including occupational and physical therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families, empowering them to continue progress outside of the clinical environment.
  • Occasionally participate in inpatient therapy evaluations, assuring seamless transitions for patients in their recovery.
  • Document all practices thoroughly, complying with all relevant guidelines and standards.
  • Keep abreast of evolving practices in the field through ongoing education and collaborative efforts with peers.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a respected institution.
  • Supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion, pending ASHA certification where applicable.
  • Certifications

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
  • Mandatory Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Skills

  • Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based approaches with a keen awareness of speech, language, and swallowing disorders across different age groups.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.
  • Adeptness in modifying therapy strategies to cater to a variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in managing electronic health records and clinical documentation standards.
  • What We Offer

  • Attractive compensation based on your experience.
  • Flexible work hours to promote healthy work-life balance and diverse patient interactions.
  • Specialized opportunities in pediatrics, adult neuro-rehabilitation, or geriatric care.
  • Generous paid time off along with holiday compensation.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance packages.
  • Support for continuing education and professional growth.
  • A nurturing, collaborative environment prioritizing quality treatment and ongoing learning.
  • A Workplace that Fulfills Your Career Aspirations

In this position, you will do more than offer therapy; you will contribute to a mission dedicated to restoring communication and fostering connections. This is an environment where teamwork flourishes, and mutual respect is paramount.

Here, each patient's story matters-as does yours. You will engage in enriching relationships alongside fellow professionals who view each other as allies, not rivals.

Why Fort Worth Will Steal Your Heart

Fort Worth is where the modern meets the west, a rich tapestry of cultural experiences fused with a distinct sense of community. Surrounded by picturesque parks and lively urban spaces, it's a place where you can unwind and indulge in unique experiences.

Outdoor enthusiasts can explore verdant trails, while history buffs will appreciate the renowned museums and cultural landmarks narrating Fort Worth's vibrant stories. Culinary delights range from classic barbecues to innovative dining that showcases the local flavor. As you savor delicacies in a bustling atmosphere, you become engrossed in the community's warm camaraderie.

This flourishing city offers more than just a great lifestyle : with no state income tax and affordable living costs, it's an attractive locale for career growth and personal fulfillment. As a healthcare professional, you'll thrive within a growing industry that offers endless prospects.

Whether you're taking your first steps into the workforce or are a seasoned expert looking for your next challenge, Fort Worth offers ample room for personal and professional flourishing.

    Who You Are

We are in search of a Speech Language Pathologist who leads with compassion and determination. You should possess a vision for each patient's potential-whether it's the hesitant child beginning to articulate thoughts or a determined adult battling the aftermath of a stroke.

Perhaps you specialize in pediatrics and are eager to branch into adult care, or you may be a neuro-focused therapist keen to include early intervention methods in your work.

No matter your background, if you are ready to commit to both care and professionalism, we encourage you to join our family.

    Let Us Unite Our Efforts

If you understand that speech is not merely sound and therapy extends beyond just tasks-if you value building trust as much as achieving goals, then you might find your next vibrant chapter here.

Join our mission in a community that celebrates the essence of communication and the resilience it instills. Apply today, let your voice be heard within our team, and empower others to find theirs.
