Guthrie Lourdes / Broome-Tioga BOCES LPN Program (Full Time) - Sept 2026

Job Description

• We will be holding information sessions on December 1, 2025, and December 10, 2025, 4 : 30pm-6 : 00pm in the Guthrie Lourdes Lecture Hall

Guthrie has partnered with Broome-Tioga BOCES to sponsor tuition for select students in the LPN program. Limited sponsored spaces will be available for the upcoming class starting September 2026. If you are selected and successfully complete the LPN program, you will receive a full-time inpatient or outpatient LPN Position at Guthrie.

This program is for anyone that is not currently an LPN but would like to become an LPN. High School Seniors graduating this coming June 2026 are encouraged to apply.

Participants must make a per diem commitment to work as a Practical Student Nursing Assistant working 12 hours per 4-week block for the duration of the program. Below is the job description for a Practical Student Nursing Assistant. Clinical Orientation for this position can take up to (8) weeks of full-time working hours during the summer.

Position Summary :

Employee works with other members of the patient care team to deliver care to specific patient populations. The employee will maintain competency for population specific groups with consideration of physical, communication, safety, nutrition, and psychosocial needs.

Education, License & Cert :

High School Grad or Equivalent

Experience :

Must be currently enrolled in a practical nurse education and Guthrie's tuition sponsorship program for licensed practical nurses.

Essential Functions :

Participates in the delivery of patient care for population groups under the direction of an RN / LPN including but not limited to the following :
