This healthcare facility operates a 28-bed stepdown unit providing intermediate care between intensive care and medical-surgical floors. The facility offers comprehensive cardiac monitoring services and serves as the central monitor station for the entire hospital. The organization maintains 24 / 7 hospitalist coverage with intensivist support, along with in-house respiratory therapy and pharmacy services. The facility is currently transitioning from Cerner to EPIC electronic medical records system and emphasizes excellent communication and flexible scheduling for staff.
