VP Of Product
We're Sweed a product-driven software startup operating an all-in-one cannabis retail platform. We are looking for a VP of Product to lead strategy, execution, and scale across our product portfolio.
At Sweed, we're reimagining how cannabis retailers operate. Our enterprise-grade platform combines POS, eCommerce, Marketing, Analytics, and Inventory Management into a single, seamless solutioneliminating the need for multiple third-party tools.

We've been on the market for 7 years, continuously growing and refining our product.
Our focus is on earning customer trust, which means constantly improving our delivery processes and rolling out new features. At the same time, we navigate the complex legal landscape of the cannabis industry, ensuring our platform remains compliant and future-proof.
Our total team size is over 200 people :
The development team is distributed globally and organized into cross-functional product teams. These teams typically consist of 812 members, including front-end and back-end developers, QA specialists, and analysts. Each team is led by a Team Lead and a Product Owner, ensuring effective collaboration and clear direction. Meanwhile, our CEO, account managers, and customer success team are based in the USA, working closely with us to align product development with business and user needs.
Own long-term product strategy across POS, eCommerce, Marketing, Delivery, BI / Analytics, hardware integrations, and compliance tools.
Lead and develop a dynamic, multinational Product organization : define vision, strategy, and operating cadence to achieve market leadership.
Be the primary liaison between business owners (C-suite, revenue teams) and Product / Engineering, translating outcomes into clear roadmaps.
Institutionalize product management excellence : frameworks, discovery practices, prioritization, roadmap governance, and release planning.
Define and track KPIs / OKRs to measure product performance and guide investment decisions.
Drive cross-functional alignment with Engineering, Design, Data, Compliance, and go-to-market (GTM).
Represent Product externally with enterprise customers; lead executive reviews and key presentations.
Scale processes for a multi-product, multi-market environment (including regulated markets and multi-state compliance).
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field; MBA preferred.
810+ years in Product Management leading large-scale, high-growth product or platform portfolios (ECommerce / SaaS / tech).
4+ years of direct people leadership (managing PMs / Group PMs).
Demonstrated success in B2B and / or SaaS environments.
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management.
Deep expertise in product development processes and methodologies (discovery, delivery, experimentation, metrics).
Ownership and a can-do attitude with a proactive approach to challenges and opportunities.
Proven experience collaborating with business owners or client-side C-level stakeholders, with the ability to influence and manage very senior stakeholders / clients.
Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, rapidly changing environment.
Hands-on yet strategic : able to dive into details while setting clear strategy and seeing the big picture.
Self-driven, highly analytical, and self-reflective.
Experience in regulated industries or multi-state compliance.
Background with POS / hardware integrations and retail operations.
Strong BI / Analytics orientation (event-based metrics, Amplitude / PostHog).
Track record implementing OKRs, portfolio management, and quarterly planning at scale.
Customer-facing executive presence with enterprise accounts.
