Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school in Oxford, NC. This contract role involves working in an inclusion classroom serving students in grades K-6, with a caseload of approximately 15 students. The schedule is five days a week, onsite only, from 8 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM, totaling 10-15 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide specialized instruction and support in an inclusion classroom setting
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students
• Collaborate with general education teachers to acmodate diverse learning needs
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Maintain accurate records and municate effectively with parents and staff
