Location : Grimes Field Maintenance Office 2300 SE 17th St., Grimes, IA 50111

Shift Requirements : 7 : 00 AM 3 : 30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime and the potential to work up to 16 consecutive hours during peak needs. This position is on-call 24 / 7 for emergencies, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and may require occasional overnight travel.

Special Requirements :

• Must possess a valid Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) upon hire
• Must obtain and maintain a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements and applicable restrictions within five months of appointment
• Must obtain a Class B Journeyman License within 12 months of hire to perform electrical work, in compliance with Iowa Code Chapter 103
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and participate in the ongoing random drug and alcohol testing program, per Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations (Parts 40 and 382)
• Must complete a post-offer, pre-employment physical to verify ability to perform job duties
• Must establish residency within 45 minutes (under normal driving conditions) of the assigned work location within five months of hire
• Must be available to respond to emergencies as required
