Embrace a new challenge and utilize your detail-oriented expertise in a cutting-edge field. You will collaborate with dedicated and supportive teammates of our railway Wayside signaling systems.

As you take on this role, you will lead the effort in ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of our railway wayside signaling systems. On a daily basis, you will work closely with various teams across the organization (including Engineering, Safety Validation, Planning, and Quality Assurance), supervise installation processes, and much more.

Specifically, your responsibilities will include conducting thorough system compliance checks, verifying field tests, and authoring essential test procedures and reports.

We will look to you for :

Management and execution of Installation, Testing, and Commissioning activities

Ensuring compliance with Alstom's standards, regulations, and local laws

Verification and validation of system requirements and testing procedures

In-depth troubleshooting and identification of sustainable solutions

Effective communication and reporting within the project team and with customers

Experience in planning, resource allocation, and team development

Providing regular updates through periodic Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Project Reports, as well as resolving deviations, delays, and other issues that may hinder field activities

Recording Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), maintaining accurate test sheet records, and reporting results to system validation to assist in punch list roll-out

Utilizing Installation and Testing & Commissioning processes, tools, and the T&C Reference Library to optimize performance

Commitment to project milestones, leading their execution on-site

Proposing and supervising cut-over plans in brownfield projects

Managing field personnel and activities on-site, ensuring proper planning and training of resources to meet project milestones while complying with local regulations and EHS rules

Performing Installation PICO (Post Installation Check Out), as well as Static and Dynamic tests to verify the correct functioning of wayside equipment

Bachelor's degree in engineering technology or equivalent combined experience and technical education (in electronics, electrical, computer, railway, or telecommunications)

Experience or understanding of signaling projects and railway installation and testing processes

Knowledge of electrical, electronic, and telecommunications systems

Familiarity with safety and EHS standards

A valid driver's license with a clean record

Proven leadership and team management skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Flexibility and availability for short or long missions in various locations and countries

Willingness to work in the field and during night shifts

A strong analytical mindset to resolve complex system failures
