Tech Lead, Web Core Product & Chrome Extension - Spokane, USA

About Speechify

The mission of Speechify is to make reading a barrier-free experience. Over 50 million people use our products to turn PDFs, books, Google Docs, news articles, and website content into audio. We are a fully distributed team, with a culture that rewards ownership, speed, and high-quality user experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Actively ship production code to the web products.
  • Work closely with the product team to define roadmap and feature priorities.
  • Participate in product discussions, shaping the product roadmap.
  • Own and deliver new and exciting features that impact millions of users.

Qualifications

  • Experience building and shipping products that scale to thousands or millions of users.
  • Strong customer obsession and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
  • Ability to work quickly, generating ideas and deciding what can ship now.
  • Experience collaborating with designers, marketers, and product managers in a high-growth remote team.
  • Proficient with Vanilla JS, React, Redux, Typescript, and Firebase.

    • Compensation

    Salary range : $140,000 – $200,000 USD per year + bonus + stock.
