Job Description

Service technician needed for the world's leading CNC (spindle / router) repair facility. This is an excellent opportunity to put your mechanical skills to work and learn an invaluable trade repairing, rebuilding, and servicing CNC machining equipment in a professional, air-conditioned environment on a normal, M-F day shift work schedule. They are looking for experienced Electro-Mechanical technicians, (80% mechanical, 20% Electrical). They need someone that has worked on high-tech machinery, someone who is fluent in test equipment an inspection gage usages. So if you fixed helicopters or other highly technical equipment in the military or civilian career and have the ability to build or rebuild equipment, they will train you to apply them to maintaining complex machining equipment. They will provide you with on the job training, first in the tear down area, learning about the equipment they work on from the ground up and moving into the main shop area when ready. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow with them.

Requirements

• Capable mechanical troubleshooting and problem solving skills (any electrical and electro-mechanical skills are a plus)
• Experience with alignments and machine geometry using precision calibration tools
• Experience utilizing measurement tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, various type gauges, and calibers to set tolerances
• The ability to travel occasionally / rarely
• Electro spindles, 2 axis heads, boring heads, and / or smart motors experience is a huge PLUS
