Founded in 1970 as South Philadelphia Health Action and subsequently incorporated as Greater Philadelphia Health Action, GPHA is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with a commitment to provide compassionate and affordable medical, dental and behavioral healthcare services regardless of an individual’s ability to pay.

We are presently seeking a Dental Billing Collection Specialist to work in our Billing Department at GPHA’s Executive Offices.

Minimum requirements : Must have two to four years of college education with a minimum of one year of experience in medical claims OR minimum of four years’ experience in medical claims or Managed Care Organizations (MCO) claims processing. Minimum of one year experience in collection activity. Good computer and analytical skills. Must stay abreast of latest billing procedures by taking continuing education classes and through contact with MCOs and commercial carriers. Good interpersonal and communication skills required. Must be a self-starter.
