Job Title : AutoCAD Drafter

Position Overview :

Join our team as a Survey Drafter to engage in the design of land development and public works projects. This role focuses on drafting detailed plans for municipal infrastructure projects such as bridges, buildings, roadways, and more, as well as residential and commercial developments. You will prepare and maintain survey records, maps, and reports, analyze survey data, and create detailed drawings using CAD software. Collaboration with engineers, architects, and construction teams is essential to ensure precise surveying for all projects. Additionally, you will provide guidance and support to field crews during survey operations.

Position Details :

• Import survey electronic field notes.
• Prepare survey drawings and mapping consisting of layouts, arrangements and flow sheets from field data, sketches, existing utility mapping and verbal and written instructions from general engineering and survey information.
• Prepare plats, ALTA and Boundary surveys.
• Prepare surfaces and finalize base maps.
• Make revisions based on redline changes and to verify quantities.
• Set up and maintain standard drawing files in accordance with company drafting standards as applicable to each project.
• Types of projects range from municipal infrastructure such as bridges, building and facility sites, roadways, and streetscapes, to residential and commercial developments in urban and sub-urban areas.
