Tele Psychiatry Locum Opportunity - St. Louis, MO

Job Description :

ClinicCare Health is looking for a Tele Psychiatrist

8 hour days

100% Geriatric Patients

No Weekends

No Nights

1-2 Days per week.

12-18 visits per day

Duties

Utilize assigned telemedicine software

Utilize AdvancedMD electronic medical record (EMR) software

Hold interactive sessions with elderly patients

Prescribe necessary medications

Review patients medical history

Advise patients on behavioral health and general wellness practices

Order additional medical tests to form a better diagnosis if necessary

Formulates and / or implements a treatment plan to address deficits and patient / family areas of concern.

Provides education / consultation to patient, family and health care team

Obtaining complete medical history and writing reports

Receive support and assistance with any available patient evaluations from local employed clinical assistant / providers

Requirements : MD / DO

Completion of an Accredited Psychiatric Residency

Missouri license in good standing

Excellent verbal and written communication skills that allow effective working relationships with geriatric community

You must also be proficient with computers, have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, EMR databases
