About The Position

Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Profession : Nuclear Medicine / PET

Specialty : Nuclear Medicine

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM

Experience : 2 years as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist

License : Associates degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology

Certifications : ARRT, CPR via AHA, Maryland Board of Physician Quality Assurance required

Must-Have :

Experience with Siemens equipment is required.

Familiarity with the use of Capintec Well Counters, Uptake Probe, Dose Calibrators, Xenon Pulmonex Ventilation System, and NMIS Dosing system is essential.

Description :

Responsible for calculating, preparing, and administering correct dosages of radiopharmaceuticals.

Perform various radionuclide studies.

Ensure patient safety and compliance with regulatory standards.

Collaborate with medical staff to deliver optimal patient care.

Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.

Document all procedures accurately and in a timely manner.

Assist in training and mentoring new staff as needed.
