Job descriptionBlueprint reading, understanding symbols and interpreting complex drawings Setting up either castings or fabrications Creating and modifying G-Code and operation of CNC equipment and manual machines CAM programming preferred CNC Machining of complex and high precision parts in metal and plastic Part quality and inspection Demonstrate quality craftsmanship, with a desire to produce the best quality components possible Responsible for fluid level maintenance of the assigned machine while he / she is working on that machine. Experience with CNC programming (Fanuc (primary), Fagor and Miltronics). Experience machining fabrications and castings. Experience in Job Shop or rapid prototyping environment. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to stand on your feet for eight to ten hours.

Snelling is looking for CNC Machinist’s at multiple levels for a fabrication and machining company in the Calera, AL area! Looking for someone who will become a part of a team that pride themselves on delivering quality products and service with every project they complete!
Shift Openings : 1st & 2nd shifts, 8-10 hour shifts
Pay Ranges for CNC Machinist :
- JR CNC MACHINIST - at least 1–2-year experience, $20-23 / hr
- Mid-level- CNC Machinist - 3-5 years’ experience, $23-26 / hr
- SR CNC Machinist - 5+ years’ experience, $26-30 / hr
