SIMOS is hiring a Warehouse Team Lead for a large distribution center in Allentown, PA! This position is responsible for coordinating associate activities in the production process and will monitor associates' performance. The ideal candidate will be committed to coaching team members and improving the worksite's training, productivity, quality, safety, and attendance. The Warehouse Team Lead assists with setting up daily / weekly work assignments for staff. A minimum of 1 year of warehouse systems or operations knowledge is required.

1st Shift : Monday-Friday, 6AM-4 : 30PM ($17.00 / hour) + $2.00 Peak Increase beginning 11 / 16 through 12 / 13 bringing hourly total wages to $19.00

2nd Shift : Monday-Friday, 5PM-3 : 30PM ($19.00 / hour) + $2.00 Peak Increase beginning 11 / 16 through 12 / 13 bringing hourly total wages to $21.00

Must be flexible in your schedule, as shift start and stop times could vary. You may be asked to work overtime and on Saturdays.

A minimum of 1 year of warehouse systems or operations knowledge is required

Assist in day-to-day operations as needed

Communicate effectively with supervisor and client operations

Train new hires in all available departments

Monitor performance and safety for every associate

Effectively engage with team members to help cultivate

Assist in ongoing tasks to service the client on-site

Moderate work with computers and integrated operating systems

Limited OT opportunities will be available

Non-climate controlled building- Must be able to work in non-temperature climate environments in a warehouse setting

Ability to lift parts weighing up to 70 lbs. without powered equipment assistance

Visual capacity to clearly recognize, read, and understand standard operating procedures, signs, part number labels, and instructions

Ability to see / hear and distinguish sounds and signs that alert, instruct, or notify one of danger, such as warning signs, horns, alarms, speech, and vehicular / pedestrian traffic

Ability to coordinate maneuvering of varied bilateral hand and foot controls at a rapid pace

Ability to utilize personal protective equipment which may include gloves, safety harnesses, and safety shoes

Flexibility to work in either a hot or cold work environment

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $19.00 - $21.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
