Travel Nurse RN - Medical Intensive Care Unit - $1,876 per week in Florence, SC

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 hours (7 PM - 7 AM) Experience : Minimum of 1 year of experience (preferably 2 years) License : Must have a valid state nursing license or compact license in hand prior to start Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have : First-time travelers are not accepted. Description : Position in the Medical Intensive Care Unit as a Registered Nurse. Night shift with a holiday rotation. Patient ratios are 1 : 2. Every other weekend requirement is mandated. Floating within the scope to meet facility needs is expected. No on-call requirement. Guaranteed hours are dependent upon facility needs. Facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks. Medical-surgical unit experience is preferred. Essential skills include managing ventilated patients, blood product administration, and central line management. Understanding of acute and chronic conditions is necessary. Experience with electronic charting systems is preferred. The role includes care for adult and geriatric patients. Candidates must be willing to accommodate block scheduling, but it is not guaranteed. COVID-19 vaccine is not required, but flu vaccine is mandatory with medical or religious exemptions considered. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission for approval based on facility needs. This opportunity requires compliance with pre-start modules and readiness to respond to emergency situations during hurricane season. All candidates must be separated from previous employment with the facility for at least one year before returning as a traveler.
