Our fitness studio is booming, and we're searching for a fun and dynamic fitness instructor who can lead new and engaging classes for our members. You'll be responsible for organizing and teaching exercise classes for a range of various-sized groups. While we want our programs to be physically challenging, we also prioritize safety and matching the fitness levels of our participants. - Instruct a variety of exercise classes to various groups of members and guests
- Promote programs, classes, and membership through social media and networking
- Motivate customers to continue exercising and help make healthy choices
- Offer outstanding customer service in accordance with company policies
- Develop classes that are physically challenging, while keeping students engaged and safe
- Lead high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and other group workout classes (strength, circuit, mobility, etc.) with enthusiasm and safety in mind
- Create a fun, inclusive, and motivating environment for hotel guests and class participants of all fitness levels
- Design and deliver effective, upbeat group workouts that align with the Moxy brand—bold, playful, and full of energy
- Maintain a clean and visually appealing workout area
- Be the on-site fitness expert, offering movement tips, encouragement, and casual consults for guests who want to keep up their fitness while traveling
- Collaborate with hotel staff to promote class schedules, pop-up workouts, and special wellness events
- Occasionally assist in equipment checks and studio upkeep, ensuring a seamless experience for guests
Qualifications :
Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)Currently certified as a fitness instructorPossesses strong, organizational and time management skillsMust have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team membersCertification in Group Fitness and / or Personal Training (e.g., NASM, ACE, AFAA, ISSA)CPR / AED certified (or willingness to obtain upon hire)Previous experience leading group fitness classes, particularly HIIT or circuit-style formatsOutgoing personality with excellent energy and people skills—you’re the kind of person who can light up a room and get people movingStrong sense of rhythm, timing, and class flowHospitality or boutique fitness experience is a plusAbout Company
