Job description

Volt is immediately hiring for an Engineering Manager in Thornton, CO.

As an Engineering Manager you will :

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs using our CMMS
  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance and repairs
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and make needed repairs alongside the maintenance team
  • Lead and mentor a team of skilled maintenance technicians
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime
  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, including cost control measures

This is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have :

  • Strong knowledge of maintenance management principles and practices including experience using CMMS
  • 5 years' experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance
  • Demonstrated career progression including a minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
  • Commitment to safety and quality
  • Salary : $110,000-130,000 / year
