Position Overview :

ARKA Group, LP is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to provide the management of numerous LINUX-based virtual machines across several security domains in support of custom software development, testing, and deployment to customer systems. You will work closely with software / product development teams and customers to elicit, analyze, and verify new requirements and enhancements. You will perform actions in a mixed environment including Windows machines and must be familiar with fundamental Windows domain administration tasks. Additionally, this position will be supporting several programs that develop high fidelity, predictive analytics, physics-based software for various ground, sea, air and space domain systems.

Responsibilities :

• Setup, configure and maintain various LINUX servers to support development, test, integration, and operational software threads
• Work with development teams to design, implement, and maintain continuous integration environment for several projects across multiple networks
• Support security with VM hardening, patching, auditing, new software requests, and other security requirements
• Track and manage internal and external software licenses
• Perform crucial Windows Administration tasks including Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPO) management, and supporting Windows-based development tools for cross-platform integration
• Serve as the primary support for Linux / Windows virtualization, including VMSphere / ESXi configuration and management
• Design, configure, and administer physical NAS / SAN storage solutions, including file sharing protocols like Samba and NFS to ensure data integrity and high availability for development programs

This position requires an active Top-Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS / SCI Clearance with a CI Polygraph.
