Job Description

Join a passionate team in our Rancho Cucamonga Operations as a Heat Treat Helper. This role is integral to the Heat Treat team and offers an engaging work environment with leadership support. The position involves travel within California and has openings across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. You will assist in heat treat applications for various metals and help operate and maintain furnace controllers.

Responsibilities

• Move parts on and off pallets.
• Read and interpret shop order instructions, specifications, and other written and verbal instructions.
• Load and unload furnaces.
• Place workpieces into heating furnaces for specified periods.
• Learn to perform hardness inspection and read conversion tables (ASTM E140).
• Prepare load couples.
• Grind parts.
• Understand and follow company procedures and work instructions.
• Maintain a safe and organized workstation and adhere to company policies, safety guidelines, and procedures.

Work Environment

The position is based in a production environment, both inside and outside the department. The role offers a 3rd shift schedule from 9pm to 5 : 30am.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rancho Cucamonga, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 / hr.
