About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Construction to lead the oversight of residential community projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in line with design specifications. This role requires the development and implementation of construction strategies, collaboration with various specialists, and the management of project risks to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The Vice President will also be tasked with leading and developing construction teams, maintaining client and stakeholder relationships, and enforcing company policies and standards.

Applicants for the Vice President of Construction position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior leadership role within the construction industry, with a focus on single-family homes. A proven track record of managing large-scale residential construction projects, strong knowledge of construction processes and safety protocols, and exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills are essential. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, and will have proficiency in construction management software and the MS Office Suite. PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
