TRANSFER CLERKThe Monongalia County Assessor's Office has a full-time position
for a Transfer Clerk . Responsibilities include checking multiple
programs for accuracy of parcels being transferred, transferring
ownership of real estate by deed or estate documents, research
from recorded documents, regular communication with staff
necessary to the transfer process, reading and comprehending
legal documents related to the transfer of property.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience working in a county government office
Experience working with a legal environment related to Real Estate
Experience working under West Virginia State Tax Code MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience : High school diploma or GED equivalent
Experience working with the public
Competency with Microsoft Office
Competency with Adobe
