Job Description

We are looking for a full-time Designer to join our team. This is a hybrid position, with three days in our Los Altos office and two days working from home. This is a formative role, where the ideal candidate is creative, technically strong, organized, and able to contribute meaningfully within a highly collaborative studio. Three years of design experience working in residential design.

The designer will work hand in hand with our senior designers and senior project manager. This person is a team player and plays a strong supportive role in design and project management.

Key Responsibilities that are not limited to-

• Support conceptual design, assist in ideation and design development.
• Take direction from the Principal and Senior designers
• Create floor plans and elevations using Autocad and / or Sketch up as directed by senior designers.
• Create mood boards and assist in preparing client presentation materials
• Source finish samples and assist in developing finish palettes
• Create accurate IA schedules for tile / stone, paint, millwork, casework, appliances, plumbing, hardware, and accessories.
• Assist the project manager and create proposals for merchandise.
• Assist in managing project progress through all phasesdesign, fabrication, and construction.
• Field visits, take site measurements, and support construction administration.
• Participate in team meetings, organize client and project notes for internal documentation.
• Weekly office-related and administrative tasks
