Job Description

Responsibilities / Duties :

  • Ensure the secure operation and upkeep of both physical and virtual network infrastructure.
  • Oversee the management of LAN / WAN, firewalls, routers, switches, and VPN services.
  • Configure and deploy new physical and virtual network appliances as needed.
  • Develop and maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and change management records.
  • Support compliance efforts such as FedRAMP, RMF, and other security frameworks related to networking.
  • Execute project-level initiatives tied to IT infrastructure.
  • Provide expert guidance on networking-related initiatives.
  • Lead or contribute to training and mentorship efforts in support of network operations.
  • Perform additional operational tasks as assigned.

    • Experience and Core Competencies :

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with network configuration and maintenance.
  • Deep understanding of network protocols and their applications.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex networking issues effectively.
  • Possession of Cisco or other recognized professional network certifications.
  • Strong track record of collaborative teamwork to achieve goals.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with regulated or compliance-driven operational environments is advantageous.
  • Active CompTIA Security+, CASP, or CISSP certifications are a bonus.
