Job Title :  Manufacturing Associate – Biotech

Great way to gain experience within the Biotechnology field! Must have previous experience working within GMP environment or a clean room environment and following sops. Academia experience is okay but must want biotech experience long term. Best candidates are flexible to shifts, good attitude, and team players!

Experience Level :  Entry-Level

Pay Rate :

  • Day Shift :  $25.00 / hr
  • Night Shift :  $27.50 / hr

Position Overview :

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate to support the production of therapeutic proteins (API) in a cGMP-regulated environment. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to start or grow their career in the biotech or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.

As a Manufacturing Associate, you will be responsible for executing production processes, monitoring equipment, performing basic lab tasks, and maintaining a clean and compliant work environment. You will receive hands-on training and work under close supervision while developing a strong foundation in GMP compliance and aseptic techniques.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Production Operations (40%)
  • Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment and processes, including Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-Place (SIP) procedures. Accurately document production activities in accordance with GMP and GDP standards.
  • Training & Qualification (20%)
  • Complete training and attain qualifications for assigned tasks. Maintain an up-to-date individual training plan.
  • Laboratory Support (10%)
  • Perform basic lab tasks such as pH and conductivity testing, and sample analysis.
  • Material Handling (10%)
  • Transfer raw materials and chemicals into, out of, and across production areas in compliance with safety protocols.
  • Sanitization & Maintenance (10%)
  • Conduct routine cleaning and sanitization of equipment and facilities. Support 6S and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Administrative Duties (10%)
  • Participate in shift exchanges, team meetings, and internal communications. Assist with projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications :
  • Education :
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field preferred
  • Experience :
  • 0–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or laboratory setting

  • Prior experience in a regulated environment is a plus
  • Skills & Competencies :
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs

  • Basic understanding of laboratory techniques
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.50 / hr.
