Summary of Job Duties : The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs patient care tasks and duties, which do not require a license. The PCT is a trained member of the unit-based team who supports the on-going delivery of care as identified by the multidisciplinary patient management team in UAMS Neurosciences Service Line. The PCT conducts patient interviews, measures vital signs (i.e. pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records information on the patients' Electronic Medical Record (EMR). S / He draws and collects blood samples from patients and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis.Qualifications :

Documents patient care activities / tasks, including vital signs, activities of daily life (ADL), wave tests, and input and output (I&Os)

Monitors and maintains adequate levels of supplies inside and outside of rooms. Prepares treatment rooms for examinations

Fixed PRN Rate - $17 / hr
