About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Azure Data Engineer

with strong expertise in

Azure Databricks ,

Azure Synapse Analytics ,

PySpark , and

Azure Data Factory (ADF) . This role involves designing and implementing scalable data solutions on Azure, enabling advanced analytics and business intelligence for enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop

data pipelines

using

Azure Data Factory (ADF)

and

Databricks

for ETL / ELT processes.

Implement

data transformation and processing

using

PySpark

within Databricks.

Build and optimize

data models

in

Azure Synapse Analytics

for reporting and analytics.

Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver robust data solutions.

Ensure

data quality, security, and compliance

across all data processes.

Optimize performance of data pipelines and queries for large-scale datasets.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data ingestion, transformation, and storage.

Document technical designs, workflows, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years

of experience in data engineering with strong Azure expertise.

Hands-on experience with

Azure Databricks

for big data processing.

Proficiency in

PySpark

for data transformation and analytics.

Strong knowledge of

Azure Synapse Analytics

for data warehousing and modeling.

Experience in building

ETL / ELT pipelines

using

Azure Data Factory (ADF) .

Solid understanding of

SQL

and performance tuning for large datasets.

Familiarity with

Azure security and governance

best practices.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with

Delta Lake ,

Azure DevOps , and CI / CD for data solutions.

Knowledge of

data lake architecture

and

data governance frameworks .

Exposure to

Power BI

or other visualization tools.
