Python and AWS Developer / Lead (Dallas)

About the Company : We are looking for an experienced PYTHON-AWS Full Stack Developer with strong skills in Python development, cloud automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The right candidate will have hands-on expertise in AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, EventBridge, S3, IAM, Redshift, API Gateway, and CloudFormation. Familiarity with GitLab source control, Terraform, CI / CD pipelines, and containerization tools like Kubernetes and Docker is highly preferred.

About the Role : The role involves developing, deploying, and maintaining serverless applications and managing AWS infrastructure.

Responsibilities :

• Develop, deploy, and maintain serverless applications using AWS Lambda, Glue, EventBridge, and API Gateway.
• Design and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation templates.
• Work with AWS Redshift to support data analytics and reporting solutions.
• Manage IAM roles, policies, and security configurations across AWS services.
• Build and maintain GitLab CI / CD pipelines for automating builds, testing, and deployments of Python-based applications.
• Optimize AWS S3 storage for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Design and maintain microservices architectures using AWS-native services.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Architect solutions to ensure scalability, high availability, and operational excellence on AWS.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and business teams to integrate AWS solutions with broader enterprise applications.
