About The Position

Job Title : X-Ray Technician

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : Diagnostic Radiology

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night 3x10-Hour

Hours per Shift : 10

Experience : Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in specialty prior to travel.

License : Permanent Ohio license required; compact licenses accepted for starts after 1 / 1 / 23.

Certifications : ARRT, AHA BLS

Must-Have :

• Experience with Emergency Room, Level 1 Trauma, and NICU / Neonates.
• Active certifications with no pending items.
• Two references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for.
• Permanent reference obtained within the past 12 months.
• Travel reference from the most recent assignment, if applicable.

Description :

Shifts will be 10 PM to 8 : 30 AM, Friday through Sunday.

Call will be required if the traveler is local.

Holiday help is also required.

Experience in Emergency Department general X-ray exams is essential.

This includes reductions, traumas, pediatric exams, and portable X-rays in various settings.

The modality includes general X-ray systems.

Familiarity with Shimadzu Rad-Speed, Shimadzu Mobile Art MX8, AGFA DXD 100, and Orthoscan mini-C-arm is necessary.

Successful candidates will engage in a range of procedures and work in a trauma environment.

Additional details completing a background check will be necessary, including a drug screen.

Candidates must be nicotine-free, with no exceptions.

A strict do-not-call policy is enforced.
