Travel Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - $2,650 per week

KPG Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in San Bernardino, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline : RN Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel 12 / 1 STARTS ONLY CONSIDERED Unit PACU Beds- 13 Phase 1 and Phase 2? -13 phase 1, 17 phase 2, travelers cover both Nurse : Patient Ratios- phase 1 - 1 : 2; phase 2 = 1 : 4 Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?)- BLS, ACLS, PALS Common Cases- lap chole, bariatric, debridements, ortho, neuro Experience or 'Must have' skills-must have PACU or ICU experience EMR -Cerner Charge Nurse / House Supervisor? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?-Yes, up to 1 patient at a time Are there nurse aids on this unit / Ratios- 1 transporter RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc)- RT handles vents, etc ICU patients - do they recover in PACU?-we do work with ICU patients on occasion RNs read strips?-Yes Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling?
