Job Title : Software Engineer – ACI Base24 (Classic)

Location : Atlanta, GA (Onsite / Hybrid)

Job Description :

Seeking an experienced Software Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in ACI Base24 Classic for ATM / POS payment processing. This role includes configuring Base24 components, supporting daily operations, enhancing interfaces, and ensuring stable transaction processing for high-volume financial environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Configure, customize, and maintain ACI Base24 Classic components for ATM / POS transaction processing.
Work with Base24 interfaces including payments switches, host systems, and card networks.
Troubleshoot production issues related to transaction routing, authorization, BIN routing, and terminal management.
Monitor system performance and support 24x7 operational environments.
Develop enhancements and scripting modifications where required for Base24 applications.
Collaborate with network, payment operations, and infrastructure teams to support stable transaction flow.

Required Skills :

5–10+ years of experience working with ACI Base24 Classic in a banking or payments environment.

Strong knowledge of card authorization, terminal management, PIN translation, and payment switching.

Hands-on experience with Base24 configuration, parameter updates, and deployment.

Strong debugging and problem-solving capability for live transaction issues.

Experience with Tandem / HP NonStop, TAL / TACL, COBOL, C, or similar environments.

Preferred :

Experience integrating Base24 with networks such as VISA, Mastercard, STAR, NYCE, Interlink, etc.

Knowledge of ISO 8583 message specifications.

Familiarity with ATM / POS compliance standards and transaction security.

Strong communication and documentation skills.
