AV Design Engineer – Onsite | Broomall, PA

A well-established audiovisual integration firm with a strong reputation for designing, building, and installing custom AV solutions across education, corporate, government, and specialty environments is seeking an AV Design Engineer to join its team onsite in Broomall, PA.

About the Role

This role is fully onsite and will work across system design, technical guidance, fabrication, installation, and system commissioning. The engineer will support both project execution and pre-sales design efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering implementation for custom AV solutions
• Provide technical guidance to project management and installation teams
• Produce CAD drawings for system integration
• Perform AV system commissioning (Biamp, ClearOne, BSS, Polycom DSP)
• Assist sales teams with scope development and Bill of Materials
• Deliver high-level technical support for active projects
• Stay current with new AV technologies and help train internal teams
• Interact directly with clients during design and implementation
• Occasional out-of-town travel as needed
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by management
