Property Administrator
HII - Mission Technologies is looking for a Property Administrator to join the team! This position can be remote or hybrid based out of our Fair Lakes, VA location. Key responsibilities include administering property control program activities, maintaining property accountability records, assisting with property audits and annual inventories, and providing guidance on company policy and government regulations pertaining to property accountability.
To qualify, you need three years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's in a related field, or one year with a Master's in a related field, or seven years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in PCs, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, MS Teams, and electronic mail programs is required. Fluent operational understanding of FAR 52.245-1 and related DFARS clauses is also necessary. Willingness and ability to travel 10% of the time to perform property audits and conduct site visits is required. Inspection and internal audit skills, including government property reviews and assessments, are essential. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
Bonus points for experience with a property management or inventory system, working knowledge of PIEE and eQuip, four or more years of relevant experience, basic knowledge of contract types, terms, and legal requirements, and demonstrated knowledge of analytical techniques, administrative and management methods, budgets, and other administrative areas.
