Job Description : GENERAL OVERVIEW :

Provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of acute psychiatric patients.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

Provides individual, group and family therapy with assigned patients. (70%)

Conducts an individual comprehensive evaluation for assigned patients. (10%)

Completes all documentation according to regulatory requirements (e.g. treatment plans, progress notes). (10%)

Attends all required departmental / hospital meetings. (10%)

Performs other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS : Minimum

Master's degree in a relevant field

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) or other Behavioral Specialist license

CPR - American Heart Association- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

Preferred

Older Adults Protective Services Act (OAPSA) clearance

Prior counseling experience in a behavioral health setting
