Job description

Job Title : Design EngineerJob Description

This position focuses on hydraulic system integration for industrial equipment. While the primary focus is on hydraulics, you will also interact with other systems on the machine including structures, powertrain, engine, and electrical.

Responsibilities

Design the placement of components such as pumps, motors, and valves in the machine and route hoses to connect components.

Complete drawing packages and coordinate the release of hydraulic system drawings.

Participate in prototype machine builds to identify and resolve hydraulic system issues prior to production.

Collaborate with the design team and cross-functional business partners to ensure hydraulic system designs meet quality, velocity, and cost targets.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in ProE, Pro Engineering, Creo, and Design.

Strong understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles, especially in ag equipment, industrial engines, and engine systems.

Experience with hydraulics, structural engineering, FEA, GD&T, and Creo Modeling.

AAS or BS in Engineering.

4+ years of experience in design for hydraulics, hose routings, or similar fields.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Work Environment

The position is based in Brooklyn Park, MN, supporting new product development. The work environment emphasizes quality and attention to detail, with a focus on creating high-quality products. Onsite workers are valued as integral team members.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of MINNEAPOLIS, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00 / hr.
