Asst. Director of Nursing

Position : Assistant Director of Nursing

Department : Healthcare

Reports To : Director of Nursing

Employment : Full-Time, Salaried (40 hours / week)

Pay Range :  $51.80 $56.00 / hour

We are seeking a Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADON) to provide leadership, oversight, and vision for our healthcare team. This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care, promoting resident dignity, and supporting a culture of teamwork and excellence.

What you'll do :

Lead nursing staff and perform DON duties in their absence.

Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and best practices.

Conduct rounds, monitor resident care, and promote clinical excellence.

Assist with staff education, training, onboarding, and professional development.

Investigate incidents, implement corrective actions, and maintain accurate records.

Support hiring, care planning, and clinical policy development.

Promote a safe work environment and uphold HIPAA and corporate compliance standards.

Qualifications :

Current RN license in Pennsylvania (ASN required, BSN preferred).

Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in long-term care.

Experience or education in gerontology preferred.

CPR certification.

Strong leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills.
