Job descriptionConduct legal research on coverage and litigation issues Perform coverage analysis, including insurance policy and claims review Draft coverage position letters Handle all aspects of insurance coverage litigation (pleadings, discovery, motions, trial, settlement) Author articles on timely insurance topics Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Admission to MD and / or VA Bars plus DC Bar or waiver eligibility 1-3 years of property / casualty insurance coverage experience required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage a diverse caseload, prioritize, and meet deadlines Self-starter with a proactive approach and ownership of tasks Salary range : $125,000 – $145,000, commensurate with experience Eligibility for the Firm’s billable-hours bonus program and collections bonus program Medical, dental, and vision insurance Health savings account (HSA) and flexible spending account (FSA) 401(k) and profit sharing Paid vacation, sick leave, and parental leave Free on-site gym access Emphasis on work / life balance
