As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Site - Part Time in Laurel MS you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Sat 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Sun 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate healthcare and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established protocols
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues
  • Monitor entrances exits and sensitive areas within the food and beverage production location to help to deter theft trespassing or other unwanted activity
  • Document observations and report any security-related incidents or hazards to Allied Universal management and site leadership
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site policies
  • Support emergency response efforts by following site-specific procedures during fire alarms medical emergencies or other incidents
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide assistance to employees visitors and contractors as needed

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
  • As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
