Position Purpose

The Food runner provides assistance to the wait staff in servicing the guests in a timely fashion. This is a support position for the servers as well as grooming of the restaurant / club and its perimeters.

Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain a high level of personal cleanliness and immaculate uniform presentation.

Be a team player; help out fellow staff whenever possible.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes

Must be able to effectively communicate.

Must be able to follow directions with focus to detail.

Must be able to work under minimal supervision.

Must be able to fulfill physical requirements of the job : carry heavy trays and furniture from time to time. (30lb)

Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).

Qualifications

Experience :   Min. 1 year in high volume, upscale restaurant or hotel.

Certifications : Food Handler’s Card; RBS Certificate
