About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Must-Have :

• Previous charge experience preferred
• Patient ratio experience : 5 : 1
• Charting system experience required, Cerner preferred
• Travel experience required

Description :

Coverage for charge nurse responsibilities may be needed, with provided training and resources.

Candidates must be open to this requirement.

Orientation hours required : 12.

The unit typically has a patient population with various medical surgical diagnoses.

Staffing ratios are 5 patients per nurse during the day shift.

Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliates is required for all travelers.

Preferred experience includes working in a community hospital setting and with telemetry patients.

Skills in managing various medical procedures and equipment are necessary.

Temporary licenses may be obtained once permanent license applications have been submitted.

Two supervisor references are required prior to employment.

Travelers must adhere to facility policies and maintain certifications as outlined in the job description.

Modules are non-billable and completed prior to start.
