CVOR Technologist - Travel Position

Location : Bismarck, ND

Job Type : Travel Contract

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 8 / 10hrs, Days

Pay : $1774.40 / week

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CVOR Technologist to support surgeons and the operating team during complex cardiovascular procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent knowledge of surgical instruments, and a commitment to ensuring patient safety and maintaining a sterile surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare the operating room and surgical instruments for cardiovascular procedures.

Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with infection control standards.

Assist surgeons by passing instruments, sutures, and supplies during operations.

Monitor equipment and troubleshoot issues to ensure safe, effective use.

Accurately manage counts of sponges, needles, and instruments.

Handle surgical specimens appropriately and in accordance with protocols.

Support the surgical team during emergencies and complex cases.

Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other team members to provide safe, efficient patient care.

Qualifications :

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program

Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)

Current BLS certification, UAP

Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience

Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical instruments and procedures
