NOVA Engineering has an exciting opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in our Tallahassee, FL location.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct geotechnical investigations and site assessments.
- Responsible for preparing project proposals, managing projects, and interfacing directly with clients
- Perform soil and rock sampling, testing, and analysis.
- Prepare geotechnical reports and recommendations.
- Design and analyze foundations, retaining walls, and other geotechnical structures.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop engineering solutions.
- Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with geotechnical specifications.
- Utilize geotechnical software for modeling and analysis.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is requiredEngineer-in-Training (EIT) license is required2+ year of geotechnical engineering experience is preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent project management skills and leadership abilityAvailability and willingness for overnight travelCheck out our Perks :
